Pacific Plug and Liner is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to lead and support HR in a dynamic, seasonal environment, with focus on workforce planning, recruiting, compliance, and employee relations. This role serves as a strategic partner to site leadership and oversees a small team, including an HR Assistant.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of HR experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office, and strong knowledge of California employment law.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
• Strong knowledge of California employment law and compliance.

Responsabilités

• Partner with site leadership to align HR strategies with business goals.
• Coach managers on performance management and employee development.
• Oversee seasonal recruiting efforts and workforce planning.
• Support payroll accuracy and timekeeping.
• Manage FMLA and other employee leave programs.
• Ensure I-9 and E-Verify compliance at the site.
• Maintain audit-ready HR documentation and records.
