Job summary

Alstom is seeking a full-time onsite Human Resources Business Partner in Phoenix to support a new site launch and partner with leaders across Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and organizational development.

You will analyze organizational capabilities, drive change programs, coach leaders on talent reviews, and ensure compliance with employment laws and the Collective Bargaining Agreement in a unionized environment. Join a global leader shaping mobility projects.

Qualifications

• Experience resolving complex employee relations issues and labor relations activities.
• Knowledge of HR and People Strategies and People Management.
• Experience in unionized environments.
• Familiarity with employment laws and regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ADAAA, Railway Labor Act).
• Certifications for HR Professionals (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Analyzing current organizational capabilities to deliver the business strategy and identify gaps.
• Supporting change programs, organizational effectiveness, development, and fostering a high-performance culture, including bids and project support.
• Ensuring the right talent is in the right place by coaching leaders on talent-related tools and mobilizing high potentials.
• Supporting talent reviews, competency assessments, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning.
• Leading mobilization for onboarding employees to a new site for a new contract/customer.
• Providing guidance on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
