Job summary

Kruger Family Industries is seeking an HR Generalist/Recruiter to source top talent, fill openings, ensure fair compensation practices, and support the HR department with essential duties.

Responsibilities include establishing recruitment processes, utilizing our HCM system, interviewing candidates, and managing pre-employment screening with vendors. The role collaborates with managers on job requirements and compensation packaging, and may back up benefits/payroll as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years related HR experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with recruiting software and social media.
• SHRM certification desired.
• Bilingual Spanish/English desired.
• Knowledge of employment regulations (DOL, EEOC, OFCCP).
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.

Responsibilities

• Establish recruitment processes and procedures for all levels of the organization.
• Fully develop and utilize our HCM system for recruiting and onboarding activities.
• Recruit top talent company-wide including sourcing, interviewing and reference checks.
• Determine and implement recruiting best practices to remain compliant with state and federal laws.
• Collaborate with managers to determine requirements for the position and qualities of an ideal candidate.
• Work with Marketing to further develop the company's internet presence on job boards and recruitment related websites to reach talent pools including active and passive candidates.
• Collect and review candidate application materials.
• Schedule and conduct both face-to-face and phone interviews for internal and external applicants.
• Manage all activities with vendors for pre-employment screening.
• Evaluate and recommend other tools to help with the employee selection process.
• Collaborate with management to determine appropriate compensation packages.
• Draft offer letters and extend offers.
• Collect new hire paperwork and complete orientations for all positions.
• Manage applicant tracking/interview/hire reports.
• Create relationships with universities and attend college career fairs each semester to recruit candidates.
• Prepare recruiting strategy on an annual basis.
• Serve as backup to other HR functions.
• Serve as the Benefits/payroll backup as needed.
• Work with upper management to set a strategic vision for HR Marketing.
• Work with department and VP of HR to collect and analyze employee data to develop strategies.
• Perform all duties in compliance with regulatory requirements.
