Job summary

SHI International Corporation in New Jersey is seeking a Compliance Officer to sustain SHI's Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, lead governance initiatives, and ensure adherence to laws across all segments. You will oversee risk assessments, ethics policy development, and training delivery.

The role collaborates with Legal and operations to audit processes, handle confidential complaints, and keep current on federal and state benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Understanding of HR laws and regulations required.
• Knowledge of corporate governance and compliance requirements.
• Experience with HR analytics and program implementation.
• SHRM certification preferred or willing to obtain within two years.

Responsibilities

• Serve as internal control point for Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
• Provide leadership on corporate governance across SHI segments.
• Monitor compliance with legal regulations and ethical standards.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and maintain ethics policies.
• Deliver ethics and compliance training with Legal oversight.
• Lead annual corporate governance audits and report findings.
• Maintain confidential procedures for handling complaints and investigations.
• Stay informed on federal/state governance and reporting requirements.
