Job summary

CHS Inc. in Inver Grove Heights, MN seeks a Director of Human Resource Business Partner to provide strategic HR leadership for the transportation organization.

You will partner with transportation leaders, lead two direct-report HRBPs, and align people strategies with business goals in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include organizational design, workforce planning, succession, talent development, and change management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive human resources experience.
• 7+ years in strategic HR leadership roles.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing decisions across a complex business environment.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR practices relevant to the role.
• Experience leading core people and talent processes including engagement, acquisition, performance management, succession and organizational development.

Responsibilities

• Partner with transportation leadership to develop HR strategies aligned with business priorities and goals.
• Lead two direct-report HRBPs and set clear priorities and standards.
• Provide strategic consultation on organizational design, workforce planning, talent selection and change management.
• Drive employee engagement, recognition and well-being initiatives.
• Oversee talent reviews, compensation planning, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver effective HR services.
• Use people data to identify trends and recommend practical talent solutions.
• Support change-management and communications throughout the organization.
• Build relationships with leaders and HR partners across CHS.
• Lead strategic HR projects aligned with Transportation and enterprise needs.
