Marquis Health Consulting Services seeks a Full-time Human Resources Director for a Skilled Nursing Facility in the Northern Rhode Island Area. You will lead daily HR operations, partner with facility leadership, and ensure compliant people processes.

Responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, benefits, audits, and reporting. The role emphasizes staffing, retention, and aligning HR with operational goals in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare HR environments preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulatory requirements in healthcare.
• Experience with payroll and benefits administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily HR activities and provide support to employees and facility leadership.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
• Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring employee pay and hours are properly recorded.
• Maintain organized and confidential personnel files and employee records.
• Address employee questions, concerns, and workplace issues in a professional manner.
• Assist with performance management and employee documentation.
• Support employee retention, engagement, and recognition initiatives.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with benefits administration and employee questions regarding HR programs.
• Participate in audits, reporting, and other HR projects as needed.
• Partner with facility leadership to support staffing needs and overall operational goals.
