Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) in Phoenix seeks a dynamic Human Resources Director to join its leadership team. You will report directly to the CEO and oversee recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, workers' compensation and maintaining HRIS records.

This role requires ensuring HR activities comply with state and federal laws, licensing and accreditation bodies, and facility contracts, while guiding policy and practice across the organization and its subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration or related field.
• 8+ years of HR experience; healthcare experience preferred.
• HR Certification (SHRM/HRCI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, compensation, benefits, training/orientation, employee relations, workers' compensation and maintaining personnel records in HRIS.
• Ensure HR activities are compliant with state and federal laws, licensing and accreditation bodies, and facility contracts.
• Lead and develop HR team as part of the leadership group reporting to the CEO.
