Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Director for Fremont Hospital, a 148-bed inpatient psychiatric facility. Reporting to the CEO, you will lead recruitment, compensation, benefits and employee relations while ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and accreditation standards.

You will manage HR operations, training, workers’ compensation and records in the HRIS, with a focus on strategic leadership and staff development within UHS and its subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required.
• Minimum 8 years of Human Resources experience; healthcare experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory/management experience.
• HR Certification (through HRCI or SHRM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees recruitment, compensation, benefits, training/orientation, employee relations, workers’ compensation.
• Maintains all personnel records in files and the HRIS system.
• Leads and is hands-on in all HR functions to ensure compliance with laws and accreditation standards.
