Six Flags Over Georgia seeks a Director of Human Resources to partner with park leadership, aligning people strategies with operations to drive results and employee experience. The role manages a full-time to high-volume seasonal workforce and navigates labor law compliance with discretion and integrity.

You will lead recruitment, performance management, compensation reviews, and HR budgeting while ensuring engagement and a strong park culture across all departments. Internal candidates only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred; or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in theme park or hospitality industry is beneficial; track record of managing high-volume seasonal staffing preferred.
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support park’s objectives and advise leadership on HR trends.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and staffing for large seasonal and full-time workforce across departments.
• Manage HR team functions, including compliance, housing, engagement events, and supplemental staffing programs.
• Drive positive park culture, employee engagement, and effective workplace resolutions with leadership support.
• Oversee orientation, leadership development, and skills training to ensure safety and performance guidelines.
• Use HR metrics to inform decisions and track core KPIs for HR practice improvements.
• Oversee performance and compensation review processes across divisions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Develop and manage HR budget; adjust labor and expenses as needed.
