Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in California is seeking a Director of Human Resources to partner with park leadership, aligning people strategies with operational goals to drive results and enhance the employee experience. The role requires a seasoned HR leader with integrity and sound judgment, capable of managing a large workforce across seasons while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
• 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.
• Experience in the theme park or hospitality industry is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with park objectives.
• Oversee recruitment, compensation, performance management for large seasonal and full-time workforce.
• Ensure compliance with California labor laws and regulations.
• Lead the HR team and manage stakeholder relationships across parks.
• Manage HR budget and analyze HR metrics.
• Support leadership with talent development and training.
