Job summary

Newbold Services seeks a dynamic Human Resources Director to lead people strategy for a growing, multi-site manufacturing organization in the Charleston, SC area. With responsibility for approximately 1,500 employees across three plants, this senior role reports to the EVP and partners with senior operations leadership to drive workforce planning, talent development, and HR infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years HR experience in manufacturing and a track record of policy and systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with multi-site manufacturing exposure.
• 5+ years in HR leadership supporting 1,000+ employees and plant leadership.
• Experience in workforce planning, compensation, benefits, and organizational development.
• Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, and policy implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with manufacturing operations and growth objectives.
• Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, org development, and change management.
• Lead talent acquisition, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Strengthen frontline supervisor capabilities and career pathways.
• Oversee HR policies, benefits, payroll, compliance across facilities.
