Job summary

HOPE Church seeks a seasoned Human Resources Director to lead people systems, attract, develop, support, and retain exceptional staff aligned with our mission to offer experiences, relationships, and places where people can find life and purpose through Jesus Christ.

The role partners with the Head of Staff and Lead Team to cultivate a healthy culture, oversee talent acquisition, compensation, performance, compliance, and staff care while modeling biblical values and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Seven+ years of progressively responsible HR leadership experience.
• Experience leading HR within a church, nonprofit, or mission-driven organization preferred.
• SHRM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with HOPE's mission and priorities.
• Advise senior leaders on structure, staffing, succession planning, and workforce planning.
• Coach leaders on performance management, employee development, and difficult conversations.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, compliance, and employee handbook maintenance.
• Lead HR systems, processes, and HR data analysis for improvement.
