Job summary

Junior Achievement USA / JA Wisconsin is seeking a senior HR leader to guide people strategy across multiple locations. The role focuses on workforce planning, policy development, and building an engaging, high-performing organization that supports the nonprofit mission.

The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of progressive HR experience, strong knowledge of employment law, and experience with HRIS tools like ADP Workforce Now. This onsite, full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership responsibility.
• Experience as the lead HR professional in a mid-sized organization and nonprofit preferred.
• HRIS systems experience and ADP Workforce Now preferred.
• HR certification (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/PHR/SPHR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CEO and leadership to shape a strategic people agenda.
• Design and implement scalable HR frameworks, processes, and policies.
• Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management.
• Oversee HR operations including payroll, benefits, compliance, and records.
• Drive culture, engagement, and leadership development across locations.
