Job summary

NAVWAR in San Diego, CA seeks an experienced professional to plan, direct, and execute a comprehensive workforce development and training program with strategic approval from the DPD.

You will oversee the application, selection, and tracking processes to ensure equitable distribution of resources, guide implementation, and support mission accomplishment. You will also lead audits, risk reviews, and the analysis of workforce data with dashboards to monitor compliance and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience at least one year at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
• Experience managing programs such as acquisition workforce development, employee training and certification, tuition assistance, or career development.
• Ability to plan and coordinate program activities; manage funding and resources; interpret and apply program policies and requirements.
• Analyze data to monitor compliance and evaluate effectiveness; prepare written products; and communicate recommendations to supervisors and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and execute a comprehensive workforce development and training program enterprise-wide with approval from the DPD.
• Oversee the application, selection, and tracking processes to ensure equitable distribution of professional development resources and guide execution to ensure mission accomplishment.
• Lead compliance audits, internal-control reviews, and management inspections to anticipate problems, identify deficiencies, and mitigate organizational risks.
• Oversee analysis of complex workforce data, develop executive dashboards and metrics to evaluate health and compliance of the acquisition workforce, and establish precedents to enhance processes.
