Job summary

Crane 1 Services is seeking an experienced HR professional to administer the full employee lifecycle in Paycor and serve as a Paycor SME across multiple locations. The role involves onboarding, leave administration, investigations, and policy guidance to ensure accurate, timely transactions.

You will collaborate with leadership on retention strategies, compliance, and performance management while driving process improvements and leveraging automation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Paycor HRIS experience including onboarding, status changes, leave, performance documentation, offboarding.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and handling policy/procedure across locations.
• Working knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Administer full employee lifecycle in Paycor across locations.
• Serve as Paycor SME: configuration, workflows, troubleshooting, training managers.
• Identify and implement automation/AI tools for onboarding, reporting, compliance.
• Partner with branch leadership on retention and engagement strategies.
• Respond to employee relations issues with documentation and investigations.
• Coach leaders on policy and employment regulations to ensure compliance.
• Support performance management processes and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Educate leaders on performance, change management, and development.
• Research HR best practices and emerging tech for advanced HR systems.
• Support internal communications on business issues and employee concerns.
• Assist leadership with work system improvements to boost profitability.
