Alabama Power Company seeks a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to collaborate with leaders across the organization, delivering workforce planning, employee development, and data-driven HR solutions. The role focuses on employee relations, compensation guidance, and driving inclusive, compliant HR practices.

You will partner with leadership to implement organizational change, improve workforce effectiveness, and ensure alignment with company values and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
• 5+ years of HR experience preferred.
• Experience consulting with all levels of management in HR disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to build a workforce that meets organizational needs.
• Consult on employee development to enhance knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Leverage data to ensure fair and equitable treatment of employees.
• Guide clients on employee relations issues (performance, conduct, attendance).
• Consult on compensation philosophy and guidelines to recognize performance.
• Support organizational change initiatives and structure improvements.
• Foster inclusion, respect and fairness across the workforce.
• Advise on employment laws and regulations applying to the business.
