Job summary

Addison Group is partnering with a growing transportation services organization to recruit a Human Resources Business Partner to support a large, multi-site workforce.

The HRBP will advise operational leaders, handle employee relations, coaching, compliance, and workforce planning across multiple locations. Frequent site visits and collaboration with leadership are required to drive engagement and HR initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive HR experience in an HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role.
• Experience supporting leaders within a mid-sized or large organization.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, benefits, leave administration, performance management, and employment law.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers and directors to address employee relations matters and workplace concerns.
• Provide guidance on performance management, disciplinary actions, employee development, and policy interpretation.
• Support leave administration processes, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and other employee leave programs.
• Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions.
• Coach leaders on employment law compliance, best practices, and employee engagement strategies.
• Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits, payroll, and HR programs.
• Assist with succession planning, talent development, and workforce planning initiatives.
• Monitor compliance standards and support audit readiness efforts.
• Analyze workforce trends and contribute to initiatives focused on retention and risk reduction.
• Build strong partnerships with operational leadership to support business objectives.
