Job summary

Lee Kum Kee USA in City of Industry, CA, is seeking an experienced HR Manager, Business Partner to provide people solutions and partner with Sales, Marketing, and corporate functions to build a capable, engaged, and agile team.

This role leads HR strategies, talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, and compliance, while coaching managers to develop careers and maintain regulatory compliance in a fast-paced consumer goods environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or related discipline from an accredited 4-year university.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a fast-paced environment, Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in performance management, training & development, workers’ compensation, leave of absence, recruitment, employment relations, and investigation.
• Strong knowledge of HR legal compliance and federal/state employment laws/regulations.
• PHR certification or ability to obtain within one year of employment.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams.

Responsibilities

• Strategic alignment with senior leadership to implement HR strategies across business units.
• Advocate for corporate values and culture, driving programs to raise employee engagement.
• Talent management and succession planning to attract, develop, and retain talent.
• Lead annual performance reviews, workforce planning, and organizational change initiatives.
• Provide guidance and coaching to managers on addressing individual and organizational needs.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and manage investigations when needed.
