Job summary

Harvard University is seeking an HR Analyst and Program Manager within the Harvard Library HR team in Cambridge, MA. The role manages classification, compensation, position management, HRIS, and performance processes in support of CADM and FAS Libraries.

You will partner with finance and leadership to align HR practices with university policy, manage data reports, and oversee annual review cycles while ensuring equity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant HR experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS applications and analytics.
• Expertise in navigating HRIS data across various systems (QlikView, PeopleSoft, Aurora, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of employment law and HR policies and practices; financial/business acumen.
• Demonstrated experience with the administration of bargaining unit policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and belonging.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and classify positions using Harvard benchmarks and guidelines.
• Manage the full classification process from intake to communication.
• Oversee compensation levels based on internal equity, market data, and university guidelines.
• Coordinate the annual performance review cycle and provide updates to leadership.
