Job summary

Harvard Library HR is seeking an HR Analyst and Program Manager to lead classification, compensation, and position management for Harvard Library (CADM) and FAS Libraries. The role reports to the Associate Director of HR for Harvard Library and collaborates across Harvard Library and Central Administration.

The position is hybrid and based in Cambridge, MA, with on-site requirements and flexible work arrangements per Harvard policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years HR experience.
• Knowledge of HRIS analytics and reporting.
• Advanced knowledge of employment law and HR policies.
• Experience administering bargaining unit policies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and classify positions per Harvard benchmarks and guidelines.
• Manage compensation analyses and policy materials in partnership with HR teams.
• Oversee position management including hiring and term actions.
• Serve as Authorized Requestor for HR systems and HR data access reviews.
• Manage annual performance review cycle and related communications.
• Provide program management support for HR initiatives and staff development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across CADM and FAS Libraries.
