Job summary

Harvard Library HR is seeking an HR Analyst and Program Manager to oversee position classification, compensation, and HR data systems. You will partner with the HL HR team to ensure accurate classification decisions and governance across Library services, including CADM and FAS Libraries.

The role requires 5+ years in HR, strong HRIS proficiency, and a collaborative approach to organizational change within a major research university.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of HRIS systems, analytics, and policy administration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and classify positions using Harvard benchmarks and guidelines.
• Manage the full classification process from intake to decisions and communications.
• Oversee compensation analyses and align with university guidelines.
• Monitor position management and data in partnership with Finance and leadership.
• Serve as Authorized Requestor for HR systems and ensure RS data integrity.
• Support performance management cycles and related governance.
