Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five years of relevant experience.
• Equivalency may substitute education and experience.
• Graduate degree in related field preferred.
• Three years of experience with federal grant programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads strategic planning, policy development, and interdepartmental coordination for HCD.
• Oversees planning tools, reports, and publications including master plans and annual reports.
• Directs community outreach and engagement with historically disenfranchised groups.
• Manages funding, performance, and reporting for place-based initiatives and grants.
• Prepares presentations to Mayor and City Council on goals and progress.
