Job summary

Double Tree in Wooddale, IL is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead hotel sales and marketing efforts. You will develop strategic plans to reach revenue goals, expand market share, and drive business growth in collaboration with the management team and marketing.

The role requires a proven track record in hotel sales, leadership, and ability to manage client relationships, negotiate contracts, and supervise a sales team across events, corporate accounts, and group bookings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field; master’s preferred.
• 5–7 years in hotel sales with leadership experience.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with hotel management software and CRM.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Identify opportunities, manage budgets, forecasts, and reports.
• Build relationships with key clients, agencies, and partners.
• Lead and develop the sales team; conduct performance reviews.
• Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and collateral.
• Oversee CRM usage and sales processes from lead to contract.
• Provide regular updates to General Manager and Regional Director.
