Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the酒店's financial activities, focusing on profitability, timely reporting, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and asset protection for owners/investors.

You will oversee cash flow management, budgeting, audits, and coordination with CPA firms, while developing staff and maintaining Highgate's standards and reporting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 6 years of progressive hotel accounting experience or a 4-year degree plus 2 years of related experience, or a 2-year degree with 4 years of related experience.
• Proficient with Windows, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing; comfortable with hotel-specific systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage cash flow and prepare monthly financial statements for the property.
• Monitor revenues and expenses; ensure accurate recording per Highgate guidelines.
• Create annual budgets and perform monthly variance analyses; recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory licenses, permits, leases, contracts, and taxes.
• Analyze data to support management in achieving financial objectives.
• Prepare and review balance sheet accounts, bank reconciliations, and GL postings.
