Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Phoenix, Arizona property operations. You will oversee month-end close, cash management, and financial reporting across AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience with 1–2 years of supervisory leadership, GAAP and USALI knowledge, and strong analytical skills to drive accuracy and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including financial statement preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
• Review monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules for accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze financial results and identify trends, risks, opportunities, and unusual variances requiring management attention.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, USALI, corporate accounting policies, and ownership reporting requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reviews, forecasts, and annual operating budgets.
• Oversee daily Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, General Cashiering, and General Ledger activities.
• Ensure timely billing, collections, payment processing, account reconciliations, and cash management activities.
• Review aging reports and implement strategies to improve collections and reduce outstanding balances.
• Monitor payroll to ensure proper labor cost allocation.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation in accordance with company policy.
