Job summary

The Assistant Director of Accounting, Transitions & New Development leads accounting transitions across properties, ensuring accurate data mapping, training, and timely reporting in line with USALI and GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Five to seven years of progressive accounting, finance operations, hotel accounting, shared services, or transition experience.
• Strong understanding of hotel accounting operations, internal controls, financial reporting, balance sheet support, and monthly close processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead transition efforts for hotel transitions and new development projects.
• Identify hotel bank accounts and merchant IDs with Treasury.
• Map and import historical financial data into Pyramid systems and chart of accounts.
• Coordinate post-transition training and stabilization for property teams.
• Collaborate with CAO, Treasury, Regional Finance, and property stakeholders.
