Cengage Group is seeking a detail-oriented editor for the Higher Education Editorial and Learning Team in the United States. You will lead competitive intelligence, partner with authors and experts, and shape editorial strategy with market insights.

Your work will impact learning materials and experiences across higher education. The role requires strong project management, cross-functional communication, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects while delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications

• BA or BS Degree.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, CRM and applied AI tools a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience with progression in scope and responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead competitive intelligence gathering and content evaluation.
• Drive content ideation with authors and subject-matter experts.
• Develop and maintain strategic documentation and author talent database.
• Build and update competitive benchmarks for editorial strategy.
• Serve as key contact for customer-reported content-related issues.
