Job summary

BJC HealthCare, Barnes Jewish Hospital, is seeking a Manager of Supply Chain Operations for our North campus. The role leads multiple departments, oversees inventory, receiving, distribution, and procurement to support hospital operations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 5–10 years of supply chain experience with 2–5 years in supervisory roles, and a certification from the Council of Supply Chain Management (CSCMP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–10 years in supply chain management.
• 2–5 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages multiple departments and/or one hospital with significant supply spend.
• Oversees inventory management, receiving, distribution, par management, laundry linen services, and procurement.
• Develops KPIs, service level metrics, and processes to support hospital operations.
• Drives continuous improvement and end-to-end supply chain performance.
• Recruits and develops talent to support transformation projects.
• Collaborates with clinicians, distributors, and suppliers to optimize inventory and service levels.
• Uses BI from ERP systems to make decisions that add value and efficiency.
