Tri-Cities Community Health (TCCH) is seeking a Purchasing Agent in Pasco, WA to manage requisitions, order placement, receiving and distribution of supplies for a Federally Qualified Health Center.

You will review contracts, negotiate with vendors, maintain inventory in the computerized system, and collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure timely payments and cost savings while upholding TCCH’s mission.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree.
• Two years of previous experience within a purchasing environment.
• Current WA Driver’s License and Car insurance.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical ability to adapt to different customer needs.

Responsabilités

• Under the direction of the Purchasing Manager, performs and/or assists with purchase order requisitioning, order placement, receiving and distribution of goods and services.
• Reviews and evaluates the acquisition of the highest quality goods at the best price.
• Inventory management within the computerized system by updating prices/quantities/counts and working with system users.
• Assists with contract management and negotiation with vendors.
• Participates in bids, evaluates bids, and coordinates vendor selection.
• Maintains records and documentation for purchasing and capital purchases.
• Coordinates with Accounts Payable and Accounting to ensure proper materials management.
• Maintains professional conduct and confidentiality in pricing and patient information.
