Job summary

FamilyCare Health Centers (WV) seeks a Purchasing Agent to oversee purchasing supplies and maintain inventory for all locations. The role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is non-exempt, located in Teays Valley.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree with at least two years in purchasing and inventory management, plus strong analytic, communication, and computer skills. This position supports multiple FamilyCare locations and requires regular inventory control and vendor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with a minimum of two years’ experience in purchasing and inventory management.
• Strong analytic skills, problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Outstanding written, verbal communication, organizational and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop profitable purchasing strategies.
• Assess supplier profiles and analyze offers.
• Prepare and implement effective negotiation tactics.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts.
• Review supplies to ensure quality.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels.
• Maintain purchasing and inventory records.
• Other duties as assigned.
