Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned IT program and portfolio leader to steer large-scale, cross-functional initiatives in healthcare IT. You will align product, engineering, data, and operations teams to deliver strategic programs, modernizing platforms and enhancing patient experiences.

You will guide governance, drive transparency, and shape delivery maturity while managing budgets, vendors, and multi-disciplinary stakeholders across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience managing complex IT programs or portfolios.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
• Familiarity with IT governance, architecture, and cybersecurity frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of project managers delivering a portfolio aligned with strategic objectives.
• Oversee cross-functional IT initiatives including system implementations, digital transformations, and cybersecurity programs.
• Ensure artifacts cover scope, schedule, status communication, budget, and risk management.
• Align IT PM, vendor PM, and operational leadership for enterprise initiatives.
• Manage portfolio resourcing, staffing allocation, and project assignments.
• Interview, hire, onboard, coach, mentor, and escalate for PMs.
