Job summary

VHC Health in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Cybersecurity Program Manager to lead planning, coordination, and governance of the cybersecurity program in support of the CISO organization.

This role manages budget, vendor relationships, roadmap execution, and knowledge management, with emphasis on HIPAA, NIST CSF, CIS Controls; healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in cybersecurity, IT, business, or related field.
• 5+ years leading cybersecurity or governance programs.
• Experience with budget, vendor management, and portfolio tracking.
• Strong organization, communication, and reporting skills.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST CSF, CIS Controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cybersecurity program planning, governance and roadmap execution.
• Coordinate budgeting, vendor governance and reporting to leadership.
• Ensure HIPAA, NIST CSF and CIS Controls alignment across initiatives.
