Job summary

Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center seeks a Compliance Manager to lead ANHC's compliance program under the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer. The role oversees the compliance work plan, monitoring, audits, policy governance, training, investigations, corrective actions, and regulatory tracking.

The position supports leaders and staff, ensuring documentation integrity and program effectiveness. A background in healthcare compliance and strong collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Three years of progressively responsible experience in compliance, auditing, risk management, privacy, or a related field.
• Two to three years of leadership, supervisory, project management, or program oversight experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, public administration, accounting, finance, law, compliance, public health, nursing, or a related field preferred.
• Strong analytical, investigative, documentation, and project management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements to operational leaders and staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day compliance program operations in alignment with the annual work plan and priorities established by the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor the compliance work plan, audit calendar, regulatory deliverables, compliance monitoring activities, corrective action plans, and key program metrics.
• Coordinate and conduct compliance monitoring, internal audits, investigations, and risk assessments, including evidence collection, documentation, reporting, corrective action validation, and follow-up activities.
• Monitor evolving federal, state, local, and program-specific regulatory requirements; assess organizational impact and coordinate implementation activities.
• Partner with operational and clinical leaders to identify compliance vulnerabilities, strengthen internal controls, implement corrective actions, and reduce recurrence of identified issues.
