Job summary

The Coquille Indian Tribe seeks an Health and Wellness Services Executive Director to oversee the Eugene Health and Wellness Division (KWC Eugene) at two facilities. Under the CEO, you will lead administration, quality improvement, contract management, and community relations to advance strategic objectives.

This role requires strong leadership, collaboration with tribal departments, compliance with AAAHC/CARF standards, and experience in budgeting, grants, and emergency readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred; alternative: Associate’s + 10 years healthcare management experience.
• Five years of management in a primary care or behavioral health setting is required.
• Knowledge of Quality Improvement and Accreditation is required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and confidentiality guidelines is required.
• Current driver’s license with no insurability restrictions from the Tribe’s insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Health and Wellness Division operations in Eugene and two facilities.
• Strategize plans and set performance goals aligned with the HWD Strategic Plan.
• Manage contracts, budgets, procurement, grants and reporting for Eugene facilities.
• Coordinate with IT/EHR and accreditation activities to ensure compliant workflows.
• Lead safety, incident review, emergency response, and training activities.
