Job summary

The Coquille Indian Tribe seeks a Quality Improvement and Accreditation Director to lead quality, safety, and risk management across the Health and Wellness Division. You will shape clinical quality measurement, benchmarking, and population health initiatives to uplift tribal health outcomes.

Under the COO, you will develop dashboards, data reporting, and enterprise-wide performance improvement projects, collaborating across departments to advance team-based care and compliance with accrediting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related health field.
• CPHQ certification or eligibility to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Minimum five years in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Minimum five years in health care quality improvement and risk management.
• Minimum five years of supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related publishing tools.
• Proven team player with strong collaboration.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management initiatives.
• Develop and oversee clinical quality measurement and benchmarking program.
• Analyze and present performance data to support decision-making.
• Create dashboards and scorecards communicating outcomes and trends.
• Coordinate cross-departmental improvement projects and action plans.
• Support regulatory reviews and accreditation readiness.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in nursing or other health related field

Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or eligibility
