Job summary

You will lead writing, storytelling, crisis communications, and executive presentations across media channels while aligning with leadership voices and brand strategy.

The role reports to the Senior Director of Enterprise Communication and currently manages a team with potential expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of professional communications experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Experience coordinating across multiple entities and leadership levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of strategic internal and external communications.
• Guide messaging and brand positioning for UVA Health and affiliated entities.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure consistent communications across platforms.
• Direct and produce high-impact writing, executive communications, and thought leadership content.
• Oversee editorial, media relations, and communications initiatives to strengthen reputation.
