Job summary
UVA Health University Medical Center is seeking a Director of Corporate Communications to lead enterprise-wide initiatives, elevate our brand, and reinforce executive thought leadership. This role partners with senior leaders across UVA Health and affiliated institutes to shape messaging that informs, inspires, and enhances visibility locally and nationally.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 8+ years relevant experience with 3+ years in management.
- Experience guiding enterprise-wide communications programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise communications strategies to strengthen brand and stakeholder engagement.
- Advise senior executives on vision, priorities, and messaging.
- Direct proactive media relations for regional and national visibility.
- Develop high-impact content across print, digital, video, and events.
- Coach and mentor a growing team of communications professionals.
- Partner with marketing, clinical services, legal, and finance leaders.
- Measure and report on communications effectiveness and impact.
