Job summary

CVS Health Corporation seeks a Health Plan Clinical Advisor to manage clinical relationships with health plans and drive profitability and growth through formulary strategy, utilization management, and program development.

The role requires strong analytical skills, extensive managed care experience, and the ability to influence senior health plan leaders. Travel up to 50% is expected, with remote options within the United States.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of managed care Pharmacist experience and/or 1 year of Managed Care Residency program.
• Active pharmacist license that is in good standing.
• Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role within the managed care environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of and experience with utilization management trends and programs within the managed care environment.
• Highly organized, detail oriented, proficient analytical ability with effective listening & presentation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the clinical relationship across multiple health plan stakeholders.
• Develop and execute client business plans to improve profitability and growth.
• Collaborate with internal partners on formulary strategies and programs.
• Provide consultative guidance on utilization management and PBM programs.
• Travel up to 50% as required.
