Job summary

UW Medicine IT Services is seeking a seasoned Portfolio Manager to lead programs spanning Fred Hutch Cancer Center and UW Medicine ITS. You will coordinate senior leaders, project teams, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery and governance across initiatives.

The role requires strong Epic EHR/healthcare technology experience, 8+ years in IT portfolio leadership, and a proven ability to manage budgets, scope, and stakeholder expectations in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-oriented profession, technology, business, or related field.
• 8+ years leading technology and/or business professionals in complex IT projects.
• Strong knowledge of Epic EHR and modules used in healthcare settings is strongly desired.
• Experience with Agile, SCRUM, SDLC/Waterfall project methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs and projects spanning Fred Hutch and UW Medicine ITS business units.
• Initiate, plan, and ensure deliverables and outcomes across portfolios.
• Analyze business processes and data; manage dashboards and reporting.
• Manage resources, schedules, scope, financials, and project lifecycle.
• Engage executives and stakeholders to build consensus and resolve issues.
• Represent service-line leaders in meetings and decision-making.
