Excellus BCBS is seeking a Strategic Out of Area Sales Consultant to prospect, develop, and win new business outside of the 31 counties served. This role drives growth for the MSO portfolio, LBS Ancillary, Pharmacy, and Operations as a Service, while maintaining partnerships with carriers and MSO allies.

The position demands extensive health insurance sales experience, proven prospecting skills, and the ability to negotiate and close deals with senior stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• Ten or more years of proven sales experience in health insurance, or a Bachelor's + 5+ years in sales/health insurance.
• Extensive knowledge of health insurance products, pharmacy products, ancillary benefits, and industry trends.
• Ability to meet/exceed sales targets and develop strong customer relationships.

Aufgaben

• Prospect, develop, and win new business outside the current service area (market expansion).
• Develop/customize proposals and quotes aligned with customer needs and pricing.
• Negotiate and close sales contracts per company policies.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers within health insurance carriers and MSO partners.
• Source and develop relationships with out-of-area potential business acquisitions.
• Collaborate with marketing, finance, and product teams to craft sales materials and insights.
