Excellus BCBS is seeking a Strategic Out of Area Sales Consultant to prospect, develop, and win new business beyond the current footprint. You will manage the MSO product portfolio and growth across LBS Ancillary, Pharmacy, and Operations as a Service, while maintaining strong partnerships with carriers and MSO partners.

You will lead proposals, customize pricing, and deliver compelling presentations, negotiating terms in line with policy.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of proven successful sales experience within the health insurance industry, preferably selling services and ancillary benefits to insurance carriers.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field with five or more years in sales or health insurance.

Responsabilités

• Prospect, develop, and win new business outside of the current service area.
• Develop and deliver customized proposals and quotes with compelling value propositions.
• Negotiate and close sales contracts in line with company policies.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within carriers and MSO partners.
• Source and manage out-of-area opportunities and purchased books of business.
• Collaborate with marketing, finance, and product teams to create effective sales materials.
