Job summary

Fors Marsh Group is seeking a Project Director to lead a cross-disciplinary team on research and strategic planning for government, non-profit, and for-profit health projects. This contingent role focuses on fast-paced, high-stakes environments addressing public health issues such as tobacco, behavioral health, and chronic conditions.

The role reports to the Director of Audience Analytics for Healthy Communities and emphasizes pipeline expansion, proposal development, and business growth while

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in health communication, public health, or related social science field.
• 10+ years leading campaign/communication evaluation projects.
• 20+ years in applied research and strategic planning projects.
• 5+ years in business development and partnerships.
• 5+ years in project management and staff supervision.
• Experience leading senior experts and publishing peer-reviewed results.
• Strong customer orientation, collaboration, planning and accountability.
• Eligible for a low-level government security investigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead pipeline expansion, capture, and proposal development for new business.
• Assess progress toward business goals and related metrics.
• Maintain an engaged division workforce with growth paths.
• Champion process improvements and team innovation.
• Track public health trends and communicate them to the team.
• Strategic planning aligned with Fors Marsh priorities at the division level.
• Balance team utilization with staff development and morale.
• Engage clients to nurture relationships for organic growth.
• Collaborate with partners and other Fors Marsh divisions.
• Lead staff assessments, formation of project teams, and evaluations.
• Ensure IRB, OMB, and data protection compliance.
• Contribute to thought leadership and Fors Marsh events.
