Job summary

Unipharmedtech is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development to drive growth with pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. The role emphasizes strategic thinking, relationship-building, and creative solution selling beyond traditional agency services.

You will engage brand leaders, present innovative, AI-enabled educational and digital engagement solutions, and lead the full business development lifecycle across a flexible hybrid/remote environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare, or related field.
5+ years in business development or pharmaceutical agency experience.
Proven success selling strategic marketing, digital, educational, or commercial solutions to pharma/biotech.
Existing relationships with pharma marketing organizations preferred.
Entrepreneurial mindset with curiosity and creativity.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic growth plan to exceed annual revenue goals.
Identify and engage Professional/Consumer Brand Managers and other commercial leaders.
Build executive relationships by understanding client objectives and challenges.
Lead consultative conversations to uncover opportunities for innovative solutions.
Present capabilities and strategic recommendations to differentiate the agency.
Lead end-to-end business development from prospecting to contract execution.
Forecast and manage a healthy sales pipeline and CRM data.
Represent the agency at conferences and client meetings; travel up to 25%.
