SimplePractice, a leader in health-tech solutions for private practice clinicians, seeks a Senior Manager of Strategic Health Analytics. The role leads an analytics function to support payer and employer conversations with rigorous analysis and clear narratives.

The ideal candidate has deep US healthcare experience, strong data analytics skills, and can operate credibly in customer-facing settings while shaping the team’s long-term direction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of analytics, data science or outcome research with people management experience.
• Strong expertise in the US healthcare payer/provider landscape.
• Ability to frame ambiguous questions into structured analyses with data-driven narratives.
• Excellent communication of complex findings to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in SQL; experience with Tableau/Looker.
• Experience with Python or R.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior thought partner to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders by translating core business questions into clear, data-driven answers
• Lead end-to-end analytical work from framing questions to delivering narratives, presentations and recommendations to executives, customers and partners
• Identify repeatable questions and turn them into scalable reports, models, and self-serve analytics
• Proactively generate insights to support market positioning, thought leadership, and strategic growth
• Build and lead a strategic health analytics function with defined standards and long-term direction
• Partner with Data Engineering to improve data foundations and workflows
• Mentor analysts to raise rigor, curiosity, and communication
