Job summary

Pivot Energy is seeking a Vice President of Capital Markets in Denver to lead capital formation, origination, and execution of tax equity, preferred equity, and debt facilities. You will oversee the Capital Markets team, build scalable processes, and travel to cultivate relationships with banks and investors.

You will partner with the CFO and other VPs to align financing strategy with corporate goals, drive liquidity planning, and enhance investor communications while growing a high-impact,

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in project finance, capital markets, corporate finance, or similar.
• Proven track record of structuring and leading complex financings at scale (tax equity, debt, preferred equity).
• Demonstrated senior leadership with cross-functional alignment and execution excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day origination of project finance facilities to support long-term financing strategy.
• Negotiate transaction documents with counsel to maximize strategic objectives.
• Mentor Capital Markets team and drive process improvements in origination practices.
• Collaborate with Finance leadership on capital formation strategy and liquidity planning.
• Build scalable processes connecting operations and capital strategy.
