Job summary

PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy, the nation’s leading rare disease pharmacy, seeks a Manager of GTM Patient Communications in Pittsburgh (Hybrid) to lead outbound patient communications. You will translate complex medical concepts into clear language and partner with Operations, Clinical, Technology, Implementation and Marketing to align materials with patient interactions.

You will develop core patient-facing materials, launch-support assets, and multimedia content while driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Public Health, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in patient education, healthcare communications, medical writing, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex medical or clinical concepts into clear, simple, patient–friendly language.
• Strong writing and editing skills across formats, including print, digital, and conversational (scripted) communications.
• Experience developing content for patient populations with varying levels of health literacy.
• Ability to independently structure and develop materials with limited direction.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to travel to support industry events as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and improve all outbound patient-facing communications across PANTHERx, including print assets, educational resources, welcome kits, SMS and email communications, and talking points.
• Translate complex medical concepts into clear, accessible language for patients.
• Ensure materials are accurate, consistent, and reinforce key messages across patient-facing teams.
• Own content quality from draft to delivery, partnering with creative and clinical stakeholders.
• Support Operations by responding to patient emails.
• Develop multimedia assets such as short-form videos and visual content to enhance understanding.
• Identify when video, visual, or interactive formats improve communication and coordinate production with vendors.
