Job summary

The Chimney Guys in Pataskala, Ohio, seeks a full-time Sales and Business Development Specialist to grow revenue through outbound and inbound activities, manage opportunities in CRM, and build strategic referral partnerships. This role is office-based with local travel as needed.

You will handle quotes, re-engage dormant leads, advance opportunities, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Administration to support growth; base salary $50,000 with uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales or business development experience.
• Comfort with proactive outbound sales activity.
• CRM proficiency and upkeep of records.
• Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and standard computer applications.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, notes, tags, follow-up activity.
• Demonstrated pipeline management and closing ability.
• Strong follow-up, organization and accountability.
• Manage multiple opportunities while advancing pipeline and responding to inbound leads.
• Ability to build and maintain strategic referral partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Advise on and pursue revenue growth through outbound and inbound sales.
• Manage assigned quotes and move opportunities through the pipeline.
• Re-engage dormant leads and revisit Chimney Care Plans.
• Prepare and present second-look estimates when appropriate.
• Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person sales conversations.
• Identify cross-sell and upgrade opportunities from inspections and services.
• Maintain CRM records and monitor pipeline aging.
• Collaborate with Sales, Contact Center, Production, Marketing, and Administration.
