Job summary

Ports North is seeking a Manager of Corporate Business Development in Houston, TX. The role supports executive leadership on strategic initiatives, acquisitions, divestitures, and enterprise-wide growth projects.

You will lead the evaluation of new opportunities and develop detailed financial analyses to drive long-term profitability and operational excellence across the organization. You will partner with the CFO and senior leaders to identify growth strategies, conduct market research, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
8+ years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, consulting, investment banking, or energy.
Strong understanding of downstream refining operations and energy markets.

Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and develop new opportunities across refining, supply & marketing, trading, terminals & pipelines, and specialty products.
Develop financial models, screening analyses, feasibility studies, and sensitivity analyses for strategic decisions.
Lead business valuation efforts for acquisitions, divestitures, assets, and new opportunities.
Collaborate with CFO and senior leaders to evaluate and execute strategic initiatives.
Conduct market research and monitor industry, regulatory, and competitive developments in the downstream energy value chain.
Build relationships with third parties and external stakeholders.
Lead due diligence for acquisitions and strategic investments.
Manage cross-functional project teams across Finance, Commercial, Operations, Legal, and external consultants.
