Job summary

ITP (International Talent Partnership) is partnering with a rapidly growing electrical distribution organization to recruit a Director of Corporate Development in Houston. The role focuses on leading acquisition sourcing, executing transactions, and driving strategic growth initiatives across mid-market opportunities.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in Corporate Development, M&A, or related fields, with strong financial modeling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Corporate Development, M&A, or related fields.
• Proven track record of sourcing and executing acquisitions.
• Experience in distribution/industrial sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead acquisition sourcing and evaluation aligned with growth objectives.
• Develop relationships with business owners, bankers, PE groups, brokers, and industry stakeholders.
• Build and manage pipeline across electrical/industrial distribution and related sectors.
• Conduct market research and strategic assessments of opportunities.
• Perform financial modeling, valuation, and investment recommendations.
• Coordinate due diligence across finance, operations, legal, HR, and commercial teams.
• Support LOIs, purchase agreements, and transaction structures.
• Partner with leadership on strategic growth initiatives.
