Job summary

Vopak is seeking a Sr. Strategy Development Manager to shape and execute the growth trajectory for its USA & Canada Business Unit.

You will bridge strategic planning, market intelligence, and deal execution, identifying inorganic opportunities and evaluating bulk liquid terminal projects. You will lead financial modeling, due diligence, and cross-functional deal processes, advising executive leadership with data-driven insights from thesis to integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Supply Chain (advanced degree (MBA) or CFA certification preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience with 5+ years in strategy, BI, corporate development, M&A, or infrastructure investment.
• Direct experience in bulk liquid storage, midstream oil/gas, or terminal infrastructure is highly preferred.
• Strong financial modeling, market analysis, and due diligence track record for corporate or asset deals.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute long-term growth strategies, identify inorganic opportunities (M&A, asset acquisitions, joint ventures).
• Lead financial modeling, valuation, and business cases for infra investments and expansions.
• Oversee due diligence teams; draft investment memoranda and LOIs for execs and board approvals.
• Track performance analytics and support post-merger integration and value creation.
